Self-Catering Accommodation
Saxons Cottage forms a self-contained wing of the main house, in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Located in a quiet lane, it is close to many National Trust properties and the world renowned Bluebell Railway, which runs just a few hundred yards from our garden.
Upstairs
Our self-catering accommodation is situated in a wing of our house and is suitable for a maximum of two adults plus a cot and camp bed for up to two young children sharing their parents' room. The large bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. There is also a television with Freeview and DVD player.
Downstairs
We offer a large living room with relaxed sitting area and television; a dining table and American kitchen featuring electric cooker and hob, microwave oven, fridge and washing machine; and a tumble dryer and freezer are also available. The evening sun can be enjoyed from beyond the patio doors, on a small terraced area with seating and barbecue.
Rent
Rent varies according to the season from £250 to £400 per week, including electricity and central heating when needed. Bed linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis. Short breaks can be booked up to a month ahead.
Arrival and departure
Changeover is normally on Saturday but can be flexible. Guests may arrive from 4 p.m. on arrival day and are kindly requested to vacate the accommodation by 10 a.m. on departure day. For guests staying a minimum of seven nights there will be a welcome pack for you upon arrival.
